04 Paper Architecture / Cuboid House
Identity, 2022
Supervised by Tal Levin
Tasked to explore the identity of an architectural project by creating an interpretive and experimental publication in response to one of the entries submitted for the 2022 Victorian Architecture awards. The Cuboid House is a solid mass with voids carved out to let light through into the home. The publication applies this concept through a series of laser cut-out designs inspired by the Malevich geometric elements of the house. The contrasting black and white colour pallet reflects that of the house, with black being solid and private and white open and public with the slight touch of brown from the engraving in place of the bronze accents.
